Hi! I'm Lucky Louie. My foster mom says I'm lucky because some really good people got me out of a really bad situation. You see, my first mom wasn't very nice. She put rubber bands around my mouth so much it hurt. (It's scary not being able to open your mouth.) I guess she thought I was loud but my foster mom doesn't understand it - she says I'm a really good boy.

Anyway, this wonderful policeman got me out of there and got me some medical help and now I'm warm and happy and eating! I'm all healed up but my scars will probably stay with me. But you won't even notice them with my big warm eyes and all the kisses I give! Did I mention that I am such a cuddle bug? All I want to do is be by your side and love on you. Talk about puppy potential - I am super smart and just want to please you.

I have a brother right now - he is super cool. He is a big boxer guy - and I love playing with him, we have such a great time. I play with the cats too but they don't want to play as much as I do. But that's ok because my foster mom and brother adore me and I get lots of love every day.

I'm almost housebroken! I'm good in my crate and I sleep through the night like a champ! I'm on a good food and am gaining weight. It's so nice to just be able to be a puppy! I finally found my puppy smile too! I'm happy all the time now. It's amazing what love can do for a little guy. All I want is a home where I am loved and safe and warm and happy and can be a puppy. Are you looking for someone to love?

Our first priority is the welfare of each of our dogs. We will choose the home that we feel is the best match for each dog's personality and needs.

Please allow 2-3 days for one of our volunteers to get back with you via phone or email. We are a very small group with only a handful of volunteers. We have multiple dogs in our care, and our volunteers also have full-time jobs. So please be patient.

We use Patented Kuranda Dog Beds because they are durable, chew proof and easy to clean. If you would like to donate a bed to us, click here.

If you are interested in adopting this pet, please read the following info first:

You MUST fill out an adoption application FIRST before meeting any of our dogs. We DO NOT have a shelter, our dogs are fostered in private, individual homes. For the safety of our foster dogs and volunteers, we do not allow potential adopters to meet any foster dog, until an adoption application has been submitted and reviewed.
